Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress who is well known for her role as Sarah Trevanion on Wild at Heart and for being a judge on Britain‘s Got Talent.

She began her career at the age of 17 when she studied at London’s Mount View drama school. She made her television debut on “Blind Date” and had her first role in the “EastEnders.” In 2004, she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier theatre award. At the Cardiff, Wales audition for the ITV1 Britain’s Got Talent, the audience and judges and now the world, through YouTube, has just seen one of those acts, Shaheen Jafargholi Britain’s Got Talent.

The 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi began singing the Amy Winehouse song, Valerie, with the audience cheering the robust delivery and the vocal maturity of the young singer.

Simon Cowell waved his hand, stopping him. ‘You’ve got this really wrong,’ he said He then asked, what else he could sing.

Susan Boyle, 48, from West Lothian stunned the judges on Britain’s Got Talent singing ‘I Dream A Dream’ from Les Miserables.
