She has hosted both the Academy Awards and the Primetime Emmys. As a film actress, she starred in Mr. Wrong, appeared in EDtv and The Love Letter, and provided the voice of Dory in Pixar’s animated film Finding Nemo. She also starred in two television sitcoms, Ellen from 1994 to 1998 and The Ellen Show from 2001 to 2002. In 1997, during the fourth season of Ellen, she came out publicly as a lesbian in an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Shortly afterwards, her character Ellen Morgan also came out to a therapist played by Winfrey and the series went on to explore various LGBT issues as well as the coming out process.

The 36 year old deli owner weighed in at 407 when he joined the reality television show in 2006 and dropped 214 pounds to become the Biggest Loser for season 3. Unfortunately he has gained back 122 pounds and is deeply distressed to now weigh 315 pounds.  Chopin weighed 197 at the finale and admits that he remained in denial until he saw the scale hit 300.

Miss California Carrie Prejean leaked photos nip slip

Miss California Carrie Prejean gets to keep her crown despite  photos  leaked onto the Internet showing Miss California Carrie Prejean wearing an open top and a pair of underwear on a beach. Additional photos have also been released showing Prejean with Gold medal winner Michael Phelps and other party-goers.

Prejean spoke about the photos soon after they were released, saying that she was appalled that a professional photographer would violate her trust by releasing images of her in between poses on a windy day. She also explains that the photos were taken two years ago for the magazine Bliss, adding that the photos should not have been released.

A photo was also released that shows a drunk Michael Phelps with Carrie Prejean, holding an open cup of alcohol.

Miss Usa Carrie Prejean Controversy

Miss California Carrie Prejean is proud and disappointed she didn’t win the Miss USA pageant after her answer to question on gay marriage from blogger Perez Hilton sparked controversy,  she stayed true to her beliefs and wouldn’t change the response – even though she believes it cost her the crown.

Prejean, who was first runner up, appeared Tuesday morning on NBC’s “Today” show and when host Matt Lauer asked if she’d alter her answer if given a “do-over,” she said no.

“I did not want to offend anybody, but I think with that question specifically, it’s not about being politically correct, for me it was being biblically correct,” she told Lauer.

The old favorite original anime from the 80’s is back! Originally known as Tranzor Z or Mazinger Z which was a hit not just in Japan, but also in the USA, Philippines, and Spain! Shin Mazinger, which also means True Mazinger will not be called a remake, or a reboot, nor will it be a continuation – at least that’s what the creators are encouraging us to believe. Confusing eh? I guess they just want to preserve the Mazinger legend of old, but it’s really just a 2009 remake rehashed and more fast paced, more details. More like old characters, but new but similar stories.

Piers Morgan wants to date and kiss Susan Boyle, Susan accepts

This seemingly ordinary woman with an amazing singing voice named Susan Boyle confessed to never having been kissed.

One of the judges on the show, Piers Morgan was so impressed with Boyle that he has offered to take her out on a date and be her first kiss! He posted a special video shout out to her today with his proposition.

“So I’ve decided to extend an invitation to Susan to take her out for a meal - a very romantic restaurant, I think, with some roses, some fine wine, some glamorous waiters, and to offer her the chance to break her kissing duck with these little things.”

“So Susan, if you’re watching, I’m available.”

Susan Boyle versus Shaheen Jafargholi

Already, people are comparing the kid Shaheen Jafargholi with elderly Susan Boyle in Britain’s got talent.

Shaheen Jafargholi wanted to enter Britain’s Got Talent to share his talent and his passion for music with the nation. With help from his mum, he’s prepared a performance to his, and his granddad’s favourite song - Valerie. Unfortunately, Simon’s not very impressed with the song selection.

But Shaheen, 12, emerged as a strong contender on Saturday after impressing the judges and changing his song to his version of Who’s Lovin’ You, the Motown song once sung by the young Michael Jackson.

The 47-year-old Scottish spinster remains the bookies’ favourite to win the ITV1 contest with tens of millions of fans around the world.

Shaheen Jafargholi also shows Britain’s Got Talent

At the Cardiff, Wales audition for the ITV1 Britain’s Got Talent, the audience and judges and now the world, through YouTube, has just seen one of those acts, Shaheen Jafargholi Britain’s Got Talent.

The 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi began singing the Amy Winehouse song, Valerie, with the audience cheering the robust delivery and the vocal maturity of the young singer.

Simon Cowell waved his hand, stopping him. ‘You’ve got this really wrong,’ he said He then asked, what else he could sing.

He showed tremendous resolve and courage to deliver such a powerful performance, after the abrupt interruption of his chosen audition song. It is notable that the song is more suited for showcasing his vocal range and abilities.
