Manny Pacquiao made his debut at the young age of 16, and by the time he was 26, Manny was already a ten-year professional.  A former two-time world champion, he won the WBC flyweight world title two weeks before his 20th birthday in December, 1998, and held the title for nearly a year. He held the IBF jr. featherweight world title from June, 2001, until he vacated it on January 15, 2004, to move up to the featherweight division.

An aggressive lefthanded slugger, Manny is recognized as one of the hardest punchers at any weight. He is 14-1-2 in his last 17 fights, with all 14 wins coming by knockout. In his last fight on September 10, he TKO’d Hector Velazquez in the sixth round.

Manny has been fighting at the top levels of competition, and has been in several of the most exciting fights of recent years.

He is originally known as Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao (IPA: /’pækja?/; born December 17, 1978), known as Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao is a professional Filipino boxer. He is the former WBC lightweight world champion, WBC super featherweight world champion, IBF super bantamweight world champion, and WBC flyweight world champion. He has also held the Ring Magazine titles for featherweight and super featherweight divisions. For his achievements, he became the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win four world titles in four different weight divisions. He is currently rated by the Ring Magazine as the #1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world.
